We are pushovers for sure. The lambs are housed right next to where our yard is. The lawn in the yard was needing some mowing. Lush, beautiful grass. To save time and energy we let the lambs in. They are doing an awesome job of cleaning it up for us. One side effect is that this super bunch of lambs are so friendly they follow you ANYwhere. I walked into the house and they all followed me up onto the deck wanting to see what was next. What's inside? Cant we stay with you? A special group of lambs for sure. If it's friendly you are looking for contact us!!!!!

Friday the 22nd we are taking a road trip down to Ludlow Mass. to exchange our brown badger ram lamb for a chocolate brown ram lamb from Lisa Lawson in upstate NY. I am excited to bring our new ram lamb home to use and broaden our brown genetics! I will post pictures when he arrives. I am so happy that our Mocha Man has found a loving home with Lisa Lawson
Yesterday was weaning day here at Sweet Clover Farm. It is a rough day for all. But it was successfully accomplished and now the lambs are officially on their own. Nobody is happy about the new arrangement but given time they will settle in. The best we can do is offer an encouraging word and extra special attention. Hopefully all will quiet down soon.
It was a good day at Sweet Clover farm. Perfect weather, sunny, warm and no bugs. We took this opportunity to finish CDT vaccines and tagging on the lambs. We are weaning this week and they will be ready for their forever homes May 10th. We still have 11 gorgeous ram lambs available and 3 beautiful ewe lambs! |
